Website disclaimer.
Last updated 30 August 2026
Summary This website gives general information about my lessons. It is not professional advice, and learning a language depends on you as well as on me, so I cannot promise a result.
1. General information
The information on this website is for general information only. I try to keep it correct and up to date, but I do not promise that everything on it is complete, accurate or available at all times. Anything you decide on the basis of this website, you decide yourself.
2. Not professional advice
My lessons and coaching are language teaching. They are not legal, financial, medical, immigration, employment or psychological advice, and they are not a substitute for it. If you need advice of that kind, please speak to a qualified professional.
3. No promised result
Lessons are designed to improve your English. They cannot guarantee a particular result. How much you improve depends on your starting level, how much you practise, how often you attend, and other things outside my control. No examination score, job, promotion, visa or business outcome is promised or guaranteed.
4. Links to other websites
This website, and material used in lessons, may link to other websites. Those websites are not under my control. I am not responsible for what is on them, whether they work, or how they handle your data. A link is not a recommendation. You visit them at your own risk.
5. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, Lanaltx is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or damage arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
6. Changes
I may change this disclaimer at any time. The version published here is the one that applies. Please look at it from time to time.
7. Governing law
This disclaimer is governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, this does not remove protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
